1. Name of The Asset-
Introduction to Work
In financial year 2020-21 ,Former Cheaf Development Officer, hardoi decided to increasing the income of women and making them self-dependent, the decision can be encouraged to form CIBs through self-help groups. In this, along with the increase in the income of rural women, the spirit of entrepreneurship will be developed.
Need for Work-
Creating Awareness & Beacuse of its importance on
worksite, the fact came to light that few firm was interested in the making and
establishment of CIB in block level. Due to which transparency of works was
being affected in MNREGA, Self-help groups were identified from district level
and encouraged for CIB making to solve the above problem.
Challenges-
The three major problems arose in the
manufacture of CIB by women.
1-Earlier,
the group did not have any special knowledge of the standard and technology
related to board construction, due to which the work was not being started,
From the district level information
about all the standards and requirements related to the construction of cib through
training was given to self helf group.
2-Work
was getting hampered due to non-availability of female painters in the group.
3 -Due to the remoteness of the
work place, there was a problem with the installation of cib. For the solution
of which the help of male workers was taken. Implemention Process-
How the work was
Implemented –
On 4th June 2020, under the able guidance of Former Chief Development Officer, the construction work was started by Inssa Allah Swayam Sahayata Group, by purchasing material
from local firms with its own savings, with good quality cib manufacturing, in
a timely manner to establish cib board worked from. All the women of the group
cooperated in the creation and establishment of CIB with the spirit of
teamwork, which was led by Mr. Ruby Naaz Treasurer. For this, regular intervals
started to be held, in which the supply issue is discussed along with obtaining
supply orders from gram panchayats.Convergence – UPSRLM and MGNREGAImplementiing Agency –UPSRLM and MGNREGA
IMPACT-
In view of the benefit
received by Insha Allah Swami Sahayata Group in the construction of cib board,
this work has also been adopted by other self help groups of Hardoi district,
at present this work is being done by 13 other groups in Hardoi district. Insa
Allah Self Help Groups some women have got the following benefits from the
above work-
1-All the women in the group have become economically/socially empowered
2- Ensuring freedom, equality, self-reliance and empowerment.
3-Empowerment of women and weaker sections.
4- Availability of credit for emergency.
Voice from the field-
In the financial year 2021-22, Hon'ble Chief Minister and
Hon'ble Governor honored the self-help group to Mrs. Ruby Naaz for the above
work. The economic condition of all the women of the group has greatly improved
due to the construction of cib as told by Mrs. Ruby Naaz and the women have
become spiritual and socially soul dependent. In the work of establishing cib,
many men have been provided employment by the group.
